From Blossoms

Li-Young Lee's poem is a very nice poem i like it a lot. this poem is about buying and eating peaches. i really don't know what else to say about this poem though. maybe we don't worry about death during the summer because "from joy to joy to joy from wing to wing from blossom to blossom to impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom" is my favorite line of this poem. i plan on writing more after class on monday

  1. I can see what we talked today in class in the poem. how it is a circle of life. we watched the peach from when its a blossom to when its a ripe peach. and we take that inside of ourselves. Also we talked about the author being Asian and if that effects how we read the story. well it does for me because when i think of an Asian writer i think of them writing about nature. And i think that might have gotten in the way before when i was reading it on my own
